You are the operational mind behind our clients’ outbound programs. You own a portfolio of parallel programs, lead two working students and evolve the playbook based on what you learn in real campaigns.
CegTec is a GTM Engineering partner for B2B brands in the DACH region. Profitable, bootstrapped, growing. This role is the most strategically important hire of the next 12 months: you take operational ownership of the delivery business while the founding team focuses on growth and platform development.
Track record in our ICP
Our ICP: complex B2B in the DACH region with deal value from €15k, across several verticals (SaaS, IT services, industrial tech, renewable energy, professional services, MedTech). We expect a strong willingness to learn new topics, your own problem-solving skills and independent work in a fast-changing environment, you come from a comparable setup and put numbers from your past work on the table:
- Reply rate, consistently ≥3% positive reply rate on pure cold lists in a comparable B2B ICP, not re-engagement, not warm-up
- Meetings booked, ≥30 qualified meetings per month from a portfolio you ran operationally
- Revenue contribution, you can quantify pipeline influence and closed-won from your programs (multiple €100k to €1M+ per quarter)
What you own
- Operational portfolio, all client programs in parallel, from kick-off to performance review. Pipeline health, reply triage, copy QA, monthly executive-level reports.
- Team leadership, two working students (delivery, content). Onboarding, structure, quality.
- Playbook development, you iterate on and document the system. Your learnings become the standard.
- Retention and expansion, clients stay and grow. You resolve escalations before they escalate.
What you explicitly do not do
New-client sales stays with the founding team. Platform and product engineering sits with the engineering team. Cold calling sits with the lead-gen function. Your terrain is delivery excellence and operational scale.
Who you probably are
One of these three stories fits:
- You founded an outbound or lead-gen agency (5–20 people) and sold it, closed it or exited cleanly. You want ownership without founder risk.
- You were Head of Outbound or Senior RevOps at a B2B mid-market or Series A/B startup (SaaS, IT services, industrial tech or similar). You want a smaller stage with more direct impact.
- You are a Senior Account Lead at an established outbound agency and want your own P&L instead of managing someone else’s accounts.
Requirements
- 4+ years of senior operator experience in B2B outbound or sales ops
- Proven track record running parallel client programs or campaign portfolios
- Brings structure to chaos — processes, rituals, documentation set up independently, not on request
- Operational leadership — managed at least 2 people directly, clear escalation paths and performance reviews in place
- Structured, data-driven, clean documentation
- Communicates with C-level on equal footing (native German, business English)
- Stack experience: HubSpot and Salesforce at operator level, Clay for enrichment, n8n for workflows
- You solve problems before they escalate
Bonus
- Claude Code or comparable AI coding tools in daily use
- Experience with Instantly, Smartlead or a comparable outbound stack
What we offer
Cash
- €65–75k base
- up to €20k performance bonus on portfolio metrics (retention, capacity, NRR)
- €80–95k total OTE
Equity
- 2% virtual shares as initial grant, 4-year vesting, 1-year cliff
- up to 8% performance equity over 3 years, tranched against operational milestones
- Total equity potential up to 10%
Other
- Permanent contract with CegTec GmbH Hamburg, remote-first
- Direct reporting line to the CEO, no middle management
- Premium AI stack (Claude, n8n, HubSpot, Instantly, our own platform)
- Career path: Head of Operations or equivalent senior role within 24 months
Selection process
Four steps over 8–12 weeks: discovery call, campaign walkthrough with your own artefacts, live case study, reference checks and negotiation.
