Outbound Sales Agent — Internship

What this is about

Full-time internship for 3–6 months. You go straight into outbound, no intern slides, no coffee runs. Your focus: cold calling and AI-driven outbound on tier-1 accounts for our clients. Tier-1 are the handpicked dream accounts per client where it is worth researching and reaching out to each lead individually.

We are CegTec, GTM Engineering partner for premium B2B brands in the DACH region. Our outreach platform produces hundreds of replies a day, but for tier-1 accounts we deliberately work manually, with more precision and depth. The final step to a meeting is made by a human. That is you.

After a successful internship: a clear path to a full-time SDR or Junior Operator role.

Track record in our ICP

Our ICP: complex B2B in the DACH region with deal value from €15k, across several verticals (SaaS, IT services, industrial tech, renewable energy, professional services, MedTech). We expect a strong willingness to learn new topics, your own problem-solving skills and independent work in a fast-changing environment, you come from a comparable setup and show us:

  • Dials per day, consistently ≥40 focused cold calls in your daily average, not just peak days
  • Meetings booked, qualified meetings per month in a comparable B2B environment (deal value from €15k), with concrete numbers from your last role
  • Your own script, you bring a cold-call script you wrote for a comparable company (anonymised is fine)

What you do

  • Cold calling on tier-1 accounts — you reach out to handpicked decision makers in the DACH region (managing directors, VP Sales, Head of Marketing) and qualify them for our clients. 40–60 focused calls per day.
  • AI-driven prep — you use Claude and our internal tools to know in 5 minutes per account: current initiatives, trigger events, the decision maker’s personal profile. No generic “Hello Mr Smith”.
  • Reply handling — turn incoming replies from email and LinkedIn campaigns into booked meetings
  • Pipeline ownership — you run the tier-1 pipeline for one client segment independently, with a clear meeting goal
  • A/B testing loop — your insights from live conversations flow back into the messaging team and reshape real campaigns
  • CRM hygiene — track leads in HubSpot in a structured way, run clean follow-ups

What you bring

  • You enjoy talking to people, and you are not afraid of the phone
  • Structured and competitive, you work with numbers and want to beat them
  • Excellent German (C1+) in speech and writing, you hit the right tone with managing directors and marketing leads alike
  • Enrolled (compulsory or voluntary internship, 3–6 months full-time)
  • AI-affine, you already use Claude/ChatGPT actively and understand what separates a good prompt from a bad one
  • Bonus, not required: experience with HubSpot, Instantly or a similar outbound stack
